Donations to the Black Pebble Arts Foundation helps make Balsa Man a blossoming fount of creativity.

Where Your Donation Dollars are Spent

The majority of donations are set aside for tiny art grants to all our tiny artists—last year we awarded more than 30 tiny art grants!
Art grants support the Balsa Regionals—encouraging tiny art worldwide!
A portion is used to help offset the materials cost to build the Balsa Man.
Any additional funds are used to buy materials for tiny artists to use during Balsa Tiny Art Build Parties.

We accept monitary donations as well as in-kind donations in the form of balsa wood, art materials, and tools—you won’t believe how much glue and how many xacto blades our artists go through. If you are interested in making an in-kind donation of equipment or materials please contact us at donate@balsaman.org.

Donor Awards

Donations can be made via paypal (using the form below) or in person. Awards for each donor level are shown below. All awards will be shipped to the address specified in your paypal (Patches are still in production and will be shipped when they arrive).

DeciDonor – $5 or more

2 Sticker Sets: includes 2 Balsa Man 2010 Stickers (3″) and 2 “it was tiny when i got here” stickers.

CentiDonor – $10 or more

1 Balsa Man 2010 Patch (3″) and 2 Sticker Sets.

MilliDonor – $20 or more

2 Patches and 4 Sticker Sets.

MicroDonor – $30 or more

2 Patches, 6 Sticker Sets, and your initials on the base of the Balsa Man.

NanoDonor – $90 or more

Custom Laser Engraved X-ATCO™ Knife Set (see photo), 2 Patches, 6 Sticker Sets, and your initials written really really small on the base of the Balsa Man.
